• The professional rate corresponding to our 'Computer Expert' service depends on several parameters or factors:

• Degree of complexity of the case;

• Complexity in obtaining the evidence to be analyzed;

• Number of pieces of evidence to analyze;

• Volume of evidence to be analyzed;

• Complexity of the pieces of evidence to be analyzed;

• Number of parties involved in the judicial case/procedure;

• Number of meetings necessary with the client and his/her lawyer;

• Number of trips necessary to attend in-person meetings;

• Number of trips necessary to carry out "in-situ" interventions;

• Number of trips necessary to the Court;

• Time dedicated to the judicial case/procedure;

• Request for an Expert Report or an Expert Opinion;

• Request (or not) for ratification of the expert report/opinion in court;

• If the ratification of the expert report/opinion is carried out electronically (videoconference/WEBEX) or in person at the Court;

• If the client requires (or not) extensions of a previously issued expert report/opinion;

• Etc.

• Each court case, like each client, is different and unique.

• For this reason, at U2 lab™ we adjust our rate to the particular characteristics of each case and the specific needs of each client, based on the aforementioned factors.

• For (very simplified) illustrative purposes, let's imagine two completely different scenarios.

• Case 1. Case at an individual level, which in turn is quite simple, and is also not urgent.

• Case-2. Case at a business level, which in turn is highly complex, and is also urgent.

• In this sense, the greater the complexity (case, evidence, etc.), the higher the fee, and vice versa.

• Likewise, the greater the urgency in the contribution of the expert report/opinion to the judicial procedure, the higher the fee, and vice versa.

• Finally, in the context of a certain specific case, the rate of the 'U2 lab™ Expert Opinion' is slightly higher than that of the 'U2 lab™ Expert Report', in the sense that in the case of the opinion, additionally, our Computer Judicial Expert includes his professional opinion on the underlying issue, based on the findings derived from the analysis of computer and/or digital evidence, expressed in the conclusions.

• The professional opinion of the Computer Judicial Expert can be of great help to the Judge (or Magistrate, if applicable) when it comes to understanding the findings and conclusions, and ultimately, when issuing a sentence, especially in complex cases.

Professional Rate for the U2 lab™ ‘Computer Expert’ Service: Alternative Quotes (A/B)

• Sometimes, our client (and/or his/her lawyer), when contacting us, is/are very clear about what they need.

• On other occasions, this is not the case.

• Whatever the case, at U2 lab™ we always offer our clients advice and assistance throughout the entire judicial procedure, from the preliminary phase to the execution of the sentence and completion of the procedure.

• In this sense, at U2 lab™ we offer our clients the so-called "Alternative Quotes (A/B)", that is, a set of 2 or more quotes for the same judicial case, so that each quote is based on a different "adjustment" of parameters (factors), in such a way that the client has several options from which to choose, always based on the instructions and recommendations of his/her lawyer.

• Once a specific quote (U2 lab™ Quote) has been accepted, if Alternative Quotes (A/B) have been requested, the U2 lab™ Service Contract will include the corresponding "adjustment" of parameters.

• In general, payment of the fee for the U2 lab™ 'Computer Expert' Service is made by bank transfer, following the instructions of the U2 lab™ Service Contract.
